
UP government shut schools till class 8 amid rising Covid-19 cases

The Uttar Pradesh government has taken the decision to close its schools for students till class 8 due to a sudden rise in the number of Covid-19 cases.
Amid the rise in Covid-19 cases, the Uttar Pradesh government has decided to close all the schools up to class 8 in the state from March 24 till March 31. Further, all the other educational institutions where exams are not underway will also close from March 25 to March 31. The decision was taken in a meeting of the Chief Minister with other officials to comeback sudden rise of covid-19 cases. Just like Uttar Pradesh, many other states, like Tamil Nadu, Chhattisgarh, etc have also decided to shut their schools due to the sudden rise in Covid-19 cases.
