Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan brought light to the achievements of the Kerala education system during the time of Covid-19 in the wake of the Case Study on the effects of Covid-19 on education, conducted by UNICEF.
UNICEF recently conducted a case study on the effects of Covid-19 on education. This was followed by Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan's comments on the same on his Twitter account. "Collective efforts of the education department, parents, the teaching community, and society have helped to ensure that the education process of the state continued unhindered during the time of the Covid-19 pandemic," he said. India Case Study by @UNICEF on the Effects of & Responses to COVID-19 on Education says:" Kerala is an exception: about 70 per cent of parents of both younger & adolescent students believe that overall learning progress is the same or better than it would be in school."
UNICEF report on the effects of Covid-19 on education was praised in the southern part of the country.
