Ukraine receives first tranche of $1.5 billion under IMF programme: PM Yulia Svyrydenko

Ukraine secures $1.5 billion from the IMF, aimed at supporting priority expenditures and macro-financial stability, says PM Svyrydenko.
“Ukraine has received $1.5 billion as the first tranche of a four-year International Monetary Fund (IMF) extended fund facility programme,” Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko said on Tuesday (March 3, 2026).
“The funds will be directed to finance priority expenditure and to support macro-financial stability,” she said on Telegram.
