Sri Paraabhava Nama Ugadi festival was celebrated at Sri Sathya Sai Prema Sadan (Sri Sathya Sai Vidya Vihar premises), at Sector-8, in MVP Colony, on Thursday.
The celebrations commenced with vedic chanting, and offering of Ugadi Pachadi as Naivedyam to Satya Sai Baba. As a prelude to Sri Rama Navami, the traditional Pandiri Rata ceremony (commencement of Sri Sita Rama Kalyanam preparations) was also performed.
A welcome address was given by Pinninti Ramasundara Narayana Naidu, district president, Sri Sathya Sai Seva organisations.
