General, Election Expenditure Observers take charge in Krishnagiri

General and Election Expenditure Observers assumed charge in Krishnagiri to monitor election processes and expenditure across six constituencies.
The General Observers and Election Expenditure Observers appointed for the six Assembly constituencies for the elections took charge in Krishnagiri and held consultations with the election officers here on Thursday (March 19, 2026).
The Observers accompanied by the District Election Officer and Collector C. Dinesh Kumar inspected the Media Monitoring and Coordination Centre set up as part of election monitoring at the Collectorate.
Anil Kumar Singh, IAS, took charge as the General Observer for Uthangarai (Reserved) and Bargur constituencies. He may be reached on 9080618938. Sorabh Babu, IAS took charge for Krishnagiri and Vepanapalli Assembly constituencies (90801 30342). The officials will be available at the PWD circuit guest house behind the Collectorate campus.
Pandve Rahul Tukaram, IAS, took charge for Thally and Hosur Assembly constituencies (90801 32207). Public may meet him at the PWD guest house in Dinnur, Hosur.
Election Expenditure Observers have been appointed to monitor and audit the campaign expenditure of political parties and candidates. Santosh Kumar, IRS, took charge as the Expenditure Observer for Uthangarai and Bargur Assembly constituencies (91235 09577). D. Satish, IRS, took charge for Krishnagiri and Vepanapalli Assembly constituencies (88257 68791). They will be available at the Power Grid guest house in Shoolagiri.
Rahul Singhania, IRS, took charge for Hosur and Thally Assembly constituencies (88257 71332) and will be available at the PWD guest house in Dinnur, Hosur. Public may meet the observers at the respective guest houses between 10 am to 11 a.m on all working days.
