Maharashtra Minister Aaditya Thackeray took a jibe at the MNS party after its workers played Hanuman Chalisa outside Shiv Sena HQ. Thackeray said the MNS is trying to revive their "dead party."
Maharashtra Minister Aaditya Thackeray hit out at Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) workers by saying that they are trying to "revive their dead party".
This came after MNS workers played the Hanuman Chalisa and other religious songs on a loudspeaker outside Shiv Sena’s party headquarters in Mumbai on Sunday.
"Our Hindutva is known to everyone. We will fulfil what we have promised (during elections) to the people," Aditya Thackeray said.
Meanwhile, the police confiscated the vehicle used to play the devotional songs and detained MNS leader Yashwant Killekar. He was taken to Shivaji Park police station.
