TIRUCHI The Tiruchi Mahatma Gandhi Memorial Government Hospital continued to over 1000 emergency surgeries, and dialysis procedure for both COVID-19 and non-COVID-19 patients. The hospital also aims to resume elective surgeries which had been put on hold during the lockdown. "The credit goes to the wonderful team of doctors and nurses at the Tiruchi GH. It is with their cooperation that we have conducted over 1000 surgeries in the last three months alone. No treatment was denied to any patient who presented themselves to the hospital in an emergency condition," Dean K. Vanitha told The Hindu.
