Nissan has showcased the Gravite's design and cabin ahead of its India debut, previewing a practical, family-focused sub-4 metre MPV, set to be revealed on February 17.
Nissan is set to strengthen its India portfolio with the upcoming Nissan Gravite, its second model mainstream after the Magnite. Slated for launch on February 17, 2026, the Gravite will enter the sub-4 metre MPV space as a three-row, seven-seater, aimed squarely at family buyers. Ahead of its debut, Nissan has offered a first look at the Gravite’s cabin through an official TVC, revealing several key design elements and features.
While the Gravite shares its underpinnings with the Renault Triber, Nissan has given it a distinct visual identity. The front end appears more upright and aggressive, thanks to a larger grille and sharper, more angular bumpers. The LED lighting layout looks familiar, though the DRL signature appears slightly revised to set it apart from its Renault sibling.
The bonnet features subtle creases for a tougher stance, and the MPV rides on steel wheels with stylised wheel covers, keeping costs in check while maintaining a neat overall look. The rear bumper design also seems more sculpted, lending the Gravite a sportier appearance compared to the Triber.
Inside, the Nissan Gravite adopts a dual-tone black and white cabin, creating a bright and airy feel. The dashboard design is straightforward and practical, prioritising space and usability over visual drama. The MPV will be offered as a seven-seater, with a flexible seating layout suited to everyday family use.
Like the Triber, the third-row seats are expected to be removable, allowing buyers to free up boot space when required. The second-row seats should slide and recline, improving comfort for both passengers and luggage versatility.
A free-standing touchscreen infotainment system takes centre stage on the dashboard. This unit is expected to be an 8-inch display with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay support. The steering wheel is borrowed from the Nissan Magnite, featuring gloss black accents, leatherette wrapping and contrast stitching, along with steering-mounted controls.
