Thiruvananthapuram district schools shine in CBSE exams

City schools excel in CBSE Class X and XII exams with top students in Science, Commerce, and Humanities streams.
Schools in the city fared well in the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Class X and XII examinations when the results came out on Tuesday (May 13, 2025).
Joshua Jacob Thomas of Science stream topped Sarvodaya Central Vidyalaya with 99.6% marks. Fathima M.N. secured the top spot in Humanities with 99.2% marks.
In Class X, Navaneeth Krishna S.S. bagged the first position with 99% marks.
At Loyola School, Sreekaryam, Vaiga Iyer V. of Commerce was the school topper with 99.4% marks. In Science, Dev S. Nair secured the first position with 98.6%.
Rishi Gogoi was the school topper in Class X with 99.8% marks.
Sana Muhammed of Humanities was the school topper at St. Thomas Central School, Mukkolakkal, with 99.4% marks. Ajay K.J. Sudhir of Science secured 99.2%, while A. Aathish Krishnan was the Commerce topper with 98.4% marks. Joel Thomas Ivin with 99.4% secured the top spot in Class X.
At Jyothis Central School, Devananda R.L. of Science was the school topper with 99.4% marks. Siya Shamnad topped the Humanities stream with 99% marks. Niranjana L.V. and Anugraha B. secured the first position in Commerce with 98.8% marks.
