Emmanuel Macron concluded his India visit with a "Thank You India" message, praised the country's digital transformation at the AI Summit and reaffirmed that are at their highest point.
French President Emmanuel Macron signed off from India with a digital hug.
As he concluded his visit that blended diplomacy with digital ambition, Macron posted a video of his favourite moments from the trip on X with a simple message: “Thank You India!” He said he deeply appreciated the warm welcome he received.
The visit saw Macron attend the India AI Impact Summit 2026, meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi and engage with top global tech leaders, underlining the growing tech and strategic ties between Paris and New Delhi.
Addressing the India AI Impact Summit 2026, Macron opened with a greeting that drew applause.
“Namaste. Thank you very much for welcoming us to this magnificent city, in this magnificent country. It’s great to be back after my 2024 state visit for this Artificial Intelligence Impact Summit hosted by you, Prime Minister,” he said.
He praised India’s digital transformation over the past decade.
