The government of Telangana will be deciding on the closure of schools across the state after reviewing the Covid-19 situation and rise in cases in the next one or two days, said Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao. The government of Telangana has been urged to take a decision regarding the closure of schools by the public due to the rise in Covid-19 cases in the state in the last couple of weeks. Many Covid-19 cases have been reported from educational institutes in Telangana. The schools in Telangana had been shut down in March 2020 due to the rapid spread of the Covid-19 pandemic across the country and the nationwide lockdown. The schools have resume proper functioning for higher classes now with several Covid-19 measures.
