A nail-biting video of a home guard employed under the Telangana State Police is doing the rounds on the internet. The clip, shared on Twitter by IPS officer Dipanshu Kabra, shows the guard risking his life to save a dog stranded in a ferociously flowing stream. The clip has left netizens stunned.
The home guard identified as Mujeeb rushed to save the dog and arranged for a JCB machine to assist him during the rescue. The video shows Mujeeb carefully reaching out to the scared animal and picking it up on the machine. A few seconds into the clip, Mujeeb manages to bring the dog to safety while clutching him tightly the entire time.
"Seeing the dog trapped in the raging waves, Mujeeb, a home guard of @TelanganaCOPs immediately called the JCB and himself descended into the waves to save him. Hearty salute to his spirit. One who wears the Khaakhi never hesitates to take any risk for the service of humanity," Kabra captioned the video.

The clip has garnered over 7k views and tons of reactions. While many lauded the spirit of the home guard, others thanked him for risking his life to save the animal.
I salute the spirit and effort. Dog understood and later balanced. Indian dogs are blessed with presence of mind and intelligence.
