
Telangana govt to introduce English medium in govt schools from next academic year

The Telangana government has decided to introduce English medium in all of the state government schools from the 2022-23 academic year.
The Telangana government has taken the decision to introduce the English medium in all of the government schools. A decision to this effect was taken at a meeting convened on Monday. In the same meeting, it was also decided that from the academic year 2022-23 a regulated fee in all private schools, junior and degree colleges will also be introduced.
The cabinet has constituted a subcommittee of ministers headed by Education Minister Sabita Indra Reddy to study and prepare guidelines for the same.
