Telangana govt to bear education cost of over 700 medical students who returned from Ukraine

Telangana government has announced that it would bear the cost of education of the medical students who have returned from war-torn Ukraine. Around 700 students from Telangana have returned home since the war broke out.
Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao in the state assembly announced that the government will bear education expenditures of those students who returned from Ukraine.
Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) chief pointed out that students traveled to Ukraine since medicine education is cheaper there. They were evacuated following the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
KCR said, "In Ukraine, it is Rs 25 lakh as opposed to Rs 1 crore in India."

Roa announced that Telangana government will bear the educational expenses for over 700 medical students and help them continue their studies in the state.
He instructed the chief secretary and health department to write to the union government in this regard. A total of 740 students returned to Telangana after Russia launched a 'special military operation' in Ukraine.
KCR, reacting to the Karnataka hijab verdict, pointed out that government should not be concerned about people's attire. The TRS Chief continued his attack on the BJP-lead union government and said Telangana's ‘single engine‘ has made more progress than ‘double engine sarkar’.
