A techie explained how he believed he lost a remote Europe-based job opportunity due to a feedback misunderstanding with the founder in the last 10 minutes of the interview.
A techie shared how what seemed like a promising interview process for a senior Flutter role may have slipped away in the final 10 minutes, all because of how feedback was interpreted as inability to handle criticism.
In a post shared on r/developersindia, the developer detailed his experience interviewing for a remote Europe-based job while being in India. “I was interviewing for a senior flutter role for a remote job in Europe in India. I have 3 years of experience,” he wrote, before laying out the four-round hiring process.
According to him, the first round involved sending a recorded explanation of his past projects. The second was a 20-minute screening call. The third round was an assignment with an eight-hour deadline from the time he received the email. “There were only 5 people who got the assignment,” he noted.
He completed the task and received structured feedback. “I did it and got feedback from them, rating me ~8/10 overall with around 10-12 feedback points. And i got a call for the final round,” he wrote.
The final round, a 30-minute call with the founder, began smoothly. He said he was able to answer most questions, including system design discussions, though he admitted to forgetting some theoretical details.
However, the turning point came in the last 10 minutes.

When we look at Iran through the prism of religion and see a Shia Islamic country, we negate its thousands of years of rich pre-Islamic Persian culture. A dive into the world of Zoroastrianism and Vedas shows us how Indians and Iranians have been sharing languages, Gods, sciences and a sacred fire for thousands of years.
