Tata Altroz DCA is the petrol automatic variant of the hatchback that comes with a dual clutch automatic transmission paired with the 1.2-litre naturally aspirated engine. Bookings for Tata Altroz petrol automatic are now open for Rs 21,000.
Tata is all set to introduce the much awaited automatic variant of the Altroz hatchback. Ahead of the launch of the Tata Altroz DCA, the company has commenced bookings for the new variant, which can be made by depositing Rs 21,000. Along with the introduction of the Tata Altroz petrol automatic, the hatchback will also be available in a new Opera Blue colour.
For the Altroz automatic, Tata has gone the dual clutch automatic way. It pairs with only the 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine for now that produces 86bhp and 113Nm. Tata is yet to release data related to the fuel efficiency of the Altroz petro auto.
The Tata Altroz petrol automatic will be offered in XT, XZ and XZ+ trims. Expect the automatic variant to cost around a lakh more than its petrol counterpart, which is priced between Rs 6 lakh and Rs 8.80 lakh (ex-showroom). Tata has also used this opportunity to introduce a new colour called Opera Blue. Additionally, the Altroz petrol automatic will be offered in the Dark Edition treatment as well.
Tata currently offers the Altroz with a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol, 1.2-litre turbo petrol and 1.5-litre turbo diesel, all three available only with manual transmission options until now. Prices range from Rs 6 lakh to Rs 10 lakh (ex-showroom).
