Celebrated fashion designer Tarun Tahiliani has issued an apology in a statement after Instagram influencer Dr Tanaya Narendra called out his brand for body-shaming her in a social media post earlier this week. Tanaya took to her Instagram handle to share pictures from her wedding day and along with it, she also shared a long note in which she called out the celebrated designer’s bridal outlet in Ambawatta for body-shaming her when she was at the store to shop her wedding trousseau. Now, Tarun has put out an apology note on Instagram after Tanaya Narendra’s post about her experience at one of his stores went viral.
