Tabu in talks for Rhea Kapoor's next with Kareena Kapoor Khan | Exclusive

Kareena Kapoor Khan recently confirmed signing Rhea Kapoor's next. As per sources, Tabu will star alongside Bebo in the film.

Kareena Kapoor Khan recently confirmed that she has signed Rhea Kapoor's next. She reiterated that the film is not Veere Di Wedding 2 but another fun concept by the producer. Now, IndiaToday.in has learnt that the actress who is most likely to star alongside Kareena in the film, is Tabu. Tabu recently delivered a hit with Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2.

A source informed IndiaToday.in, "Rhea has already locked Kareena Kapoor Khan for her next project. She is in talks with Tabu to star in the film as well. However, Tabu is yet to sign the film on dotted lines. The actress has loved the script and has shown her interest and is most likely to give her confirmation soon." Regarding the concept of the film, the source added, "The film will focus on the individual journey of two women who find support in one another. It is a film with two female central characters with a unique twist to it." The source did not divulge any further details.

Kareena and Tabu were last seen sharing the screen space in Golmaal Again.

Earlier, speaking about the film, Kareena said, "Rhea has got two stellar actors. I can't reveal the cast, but I am very excited. I can't wait for her to announce (the film). It will start (filming) by the end of this year or January."

Meanwhile, Kareena recently wrapped up the filming of her OTT debut which has been directed by Sujoy Ghosh. The Netflix film is an adaptation of the Japanese bestseller The Devotion of Suspect X. It also features Vijay Verma and Jaideep Ahlawat in the lead roles. She was last seen in Laal Singh Chaddha alongwith Aamir Khan.
