Iran’s newly appointed Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei issued his first public message on Thursday, outlining Tehran’s position on the ongoing confrontation with the United States and Israel.
In his remarks, Mojtaba Khamenei warned that American military bases in the region could face attacks if they remain operational.
“All US bases should be immediately closed in the region otherwise they will be attacked,” Khamenei said in his first remarks after taking office as Iran’s top authority.
