Stand-up comedian Amit Tandon invites Covid-19 patients to join him for online sessions

In a post on Twitter, Amit Tandon said that he has decided to conduct online free laughter sessions for Covid-19 patients over weekdays and weekends.

The mood is tense across the country owing to the sharp increase in the number of coronavirus cases in the wake of the second wave of Covid-19. But as they say, ‘Enjoy the torture to torture it back.’ And this is what stand-up comedian and writer Amit Tandon is doing. Covid Positive? Everyone deserves a good laugh and company in these times.Really please to see this, thank you for reminding that it does not really take much to be human. And then throw generous amounts of laughter and mirth into the mix .. is just what the dr should be ordering In a post on Twitter, Amit Tandon said that he has decided to conduct online free laughter sessions for Covid-19 patients over weekdays and weekends. Surely, that's good news for people in quarantine for fourteen days as this would lift the spirits and will make them feel better. “If you are Covid Positive and stuck alone, let's spend some time together. This will be a 30-minute session where we will talk and hopefully laugh together. There is no money involved. Just drop me a mail on amit@tandonamit.com and we will send you confirmations as we will have only 15 slots per interaction (I am not calling it a show). Starting this from 16th April onwards, at 6 pm,” Amit Tandon said in his post, captioned, “Covid Positive? Let's talk (If you are interested).”
