Sony has brought out yet another smartphone focused on camera capabilities and this one resembles a camera more than a phone. Here is a look at the Xperia Pro-I, the latest smartphone from the house of Sony.
Sony has launched a new Xperia smartphone that promises to bring revolutionary new imaging technology for content creators. Named Xperia Pro-I, the new phone from the house of Sony comes as the world’s first to include a 1.0-type Exmor RS image sensor with phase detection AF (autofocus) on its camera setup.
With this large, 1-inch camera sensor, Sony promises to provide “outstanding low light performance, high dynamic range, and beautiful bokeh” on the Xperia phone. This is also the reason for the device's name - Xperia Pro-I, wherein the I stands for Imaging. Sony also claims that it is the world’s first smartphone to enable the user to shoot high quality video in 4K 120fps
