Actor Sonu Sood announced that he was offering free accommodation in Dubai to travellers stranded amid the Iran-Israel-US tensions. The humanitarian said anyone in need can reach out to him for a safe place to stay, regardless of nationality.
Actor and humanitarian Sonu Sood on Thursday announced free accommodation for people stranded in Dubai amid the ongoing Middle East conflict. The actor shared a video on social media, asking travellers who are stuck in the city to reach out to him if they need a place to stay. Sood also said he has arranged the facility for anyone who has nowhere to go amid the Iran-Israel-US tensions, irrespective of their nationality.
He said in the video, "Anyone who's stranded in Dubai because of the ongoing crisis, we just want to tell you that you have a place to stay. We'll make sure that you get free-of-cost accommodation (sic)."
Sood further asked people to reach out to him through a direct message on his social media accounts and share their details.
The 52-year-old added, "Jo log bhi humare Hindustani hai, ya kisi bhi nationality ke log phase hue hain Dubai ke andar, aap mujhe DM kijiye. We will make sure that you get a free of cost stay till you reach your country. Jai Hind. God bless you all [Whoever, whether our fellow Indians, or people of any nationality who are stranded in Dubai, please send me a DM. We will make sure you get a free stay at no cost until you are able to return to your country. Jai Hind. God bless you all]."
