
KD song starring Nora Fatehi taken down after row over vulgar lyrics

The makers of KD: The Devil have made the Nora Fatehi song private after severe criticism over suggestive lyrics and visuals. The National Human Rights Commission has reportedly issued notices to the filmmakers following backlash.
The makers of KD: The Devil have made Nora Fatehi song, Sarse Ninna Seraga Sarse (Sarke Chunar Teri Sarke in the Hindi version of the film), private on YouTube after severe backlash on social media. As soon as the song was released on the streaming platform, many users slammed the makers over its suggestive and vulgar lyrics and visuals.
Hardly a day after the song's release, the makers have taken down the video. YouTube is now displaying the message, "Video unavailable. This video is private," for the song.

The song Sarse Ninna Seraga Sarse is set against a dance bar backdrop with Nora Fatehi, clad in a ghagra choli, dancing around men. The song's hook step involving her pallu went viral online.
Particularly, the lyrics and visuals were subjected to criticism from many users. Many of them called it inappropriate and slammed the makers for making it provocative visuals and double entendre lyrics.
Apart from Nora Fatehi, the song also featured Sanjay Dutt. The lyrics were written by Raqueeb Alam.
