
Skoda Slavia sedan to be unveiled tomorrow

The all-new Skoda Slavia is bigger in size than the Rapid which it replaces to take on the likes of the Honda City, Hyundai Verna and Maruti Suzuki Ciaz.
Skoda Auto will unveil its second MQB A0 IN based product for the Indian market tomorrow in the form of the Skoda Slavia sedan. It will replace the Skoda Rapid in the company's lineup, but is bigger in size and will be a more premium offering to rival the Honda City, Hyundai Verna and Maruti Suzuki Ciaz.
Over the past few weeks, Skoda has released sketches teasing the interior and exterior of the Slavia. Its front end borrows styling cues from the new Skoda Fabia hatchback sold in Europe while the rear bears a strong resemblance to the Octavia sedan. The Skoda Slavia is 4,541mm long, 1,752mm wide and 1,487mm tall and sits on a 2,651mm long wheelbase.
