Sri Varaha Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy temple at Simhachalam here will be closed to devotees from May 10 to 15. This decision was taken by Executive Officer M.V. Suryakala with the approval of the Trust Board, following requests from the temple priests and in view of the forthcoming Chandanotsavam. Following multiple complaints regarding vehicle dealers not handing over registration certificates (RCs) to registered owners at the time of delivery, the Delhi Transport Department has directed all its district offices to seek reports on the issuance of RCs from vehicle dealers under their jurisdiction on a fortnightly basis. The order was issued on Thursday by Transport Minister Kailash Gahlot.
