Sierra Liliann, a content creator who often travels between Rishikesh and the US, has shared her positive experiences with AC sleeper buses in India.
Long highways, glowing dhabas, and a full-window view of passing farmlands, this is the travel experience that has captivated a US content creator. The influencer Sierra Liliann, who splits her time between Rishikesh and the US, has shared why India’s AC sleeper buses are her ultimate pick for road travel.
In a recent Instagram post, Liliann shared her love for India’s sleeper bus journeys, calling them her preferred mode of transport.
While she acknowledged enjoying taxis for convenience and trains for their sense of adventure, she wrote, “Of course, I love the convenience and ease of taking a taxi, and the adventure of taking a train is also special, but to me these AC sleeper buses are GOATED.”
She listed three key reasons behind her enthusiasm. One of them is the uninterrupted window view. Describing the experience of lying down beside a large glass pane, she said, “Laying with a full window view. I love watching all the beautiful farmlands, driving through local towns, and seeing all kinds of animals around.”
From dogs and cows to monkeys and even a camel she once spotted, the slow-moving landscape has clearly left an impression.
Another highlight for her is the iconic highway halt. “There’s nothing like that moment when I’m woken out of my sleep by the driver yelling, ‘AADHA GHANTA’ and knowing I’m about to destroy some parathas and chai,” she wrote, celebrating the mid-way dhaba stop that many Indian travellers know well.

Leon Panetta said Iran war was not an unexpected risk. He pointed out that for years, US security officials have known Iran could disrupt global oil supplies by blocking the Strait of Hormuz. According to him, this was a well-known danger, but one that appears to have been overlooked in the current conflict.
