Some celebrities have a kind heart - even after their death. From Sushant Singh Rajput to Sidharth Shukla, there have been some celebs whose properties were donated to the charities after their demise. Let's take a look at how much money was donated for charity.

Bigg Boss 13 winner Sidharth Shukla passed away on September 2, 2021. According to the reports, the actor had prepared his will and wanted his property to be donated to the charity. If reports are to be believed, his net worth was Rs 50 crore. Sidharth Shukla's body was taken to Mumbai’s Cooper hospital after he suffered a massive heart attack on September 2. He had felt uneasy the previous night and taken some medication before going to sleep. However, he did not wake up in the morning. His mother, Rita Shukla, tried to wake him up and called his sister, who lives in the same building when Sidharth did not respond. The late actor was cremated in Oshiwara on September 3.

Sushant Singh Rajput passed away on June 14, 2020. His death came as a rude shock to the entire nation. It was often reported that Sushant donated some amount in charity as he always wanted to help. Post his demise, the actor's family decided to donate all his property to charity. Sushant Singh Rajput's death case was investigated by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI).

Irrfan Khan passed away on April 2, 2020, due to cancer. The actor was 53 years old, and was admitted to the Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani hospital in Mumbai when he passed away. After his death, Irrfan's wife, Sutapa Sikdar, announced that she would be donating a huge amount from his property for charity. If reports are to be believed, she donated around Rs 600 crores to charity. Irrfan was diagnosed with neuroendocrine tumour in 2018 and sought treatment in the UK for a year. The actor returned to India in February 2019 and shortly resumed shooting for his film, Angrezi Medium.

Legandary singer Lata Mangeshkar passed away at the age of 92 on February 6. Reportedly, she had prepared a will and wanted all her property to be donated to the charity. Lata di passed away at the Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai where she was admitted after contracting Covid-19. Several fans joined the legendary singer’s final journey from her Peddar Road residence to Shivaji Park, where she was cremated.

After Sridevi's death, her husband Boney Kapoor donated half amount to charity. He built a small school in a village. The education is provided free of cost there. Sridevi breathed her last in Dubai in 2018. While it was initially believed that she passed away after suffering a cardiac arrest, after her brother-in-law Sanjay Kapoor told the media that it was cardiac arrrest which claimed her life, Sridevi's death certificate revealed her cause of death to be accidental drowning. The actress's body was brought back to Mumbai later where it was cremated.
