The actress declared to the world that Santanu is indeed the best lockdown buddy. In the recent past, the actress has come forward to spread awareness about adoptions during the Covid-19 crisis. She spoke about how a lot of kids who have lost their parents due to the novel coronavirus are falling prey to illegal adoptions or worse, trafficking. She has been sharing the process of adoption on Instagram for parents, while urging fans to wear a mask and step out of the house only when necessary. Sharing a cute picture of Santanu and her, Shruti Haasan called him the best lockdown buddy and thanked him for keeping her company during these turbulent times. However, this isn’t the first time she has referred to Santanu as her lockdown buddy.
