Chief Minister reviews work at Sogane village in Shivamogga
Chief Minister B.S. Yediyurappa has said the Shivamogga airport, coming up at Sogane village, will be operational by next June. Speaking to presspersons at Sogane in Shivamogga taluk after reviewing the progress, the CM said the State government will ensure the completion of the project despite the financial constraints of the State. “The airport will boost economic activities in the districts in the central part of the State. Youths will get jobs and these districts will get investment,” he said.More Related News

Chief Minister Siddaramaiah on Saturday said that on the lines of the farmers’ protest that compelled the Centre to withdraw farm laws, a protest would be launched with like-minded political parties and organisations representing the poor to demand repeal of the new Viksit Bharat-Guarantee for Rozgar Ajeevika Mission (Gramin) (VB-G RAM G) and restoration of the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Act (MGNREGA).
