All government and private schools in Puducherry will reopen for students of Classes 1 to 10 and 12 from June 23.
On Monday, the Home and Education Minister of Puducherry, A Namassivayam, said that all the government and privately managed schools in Puducherry and Karaikal will reopen from June 23, 2022. The following order is for the students studying in Classes 1 to 10 and 12.
He further added that information regarding the reopening of schools for Class 11 students will be made later. As per reports, the reopening date will be announced after the declaration of the class 10 board examination results.
Talking to reporters at the Directorate of School Education, the minister said the schools would have a holiday on Saturdays.
