A retirement video of an employee of the State Bank of India (SBI) has gone viral on social media that captured the quiet, emotional moments of her final day at work after decades in the banking sector.
The video was shared by one of her colleagues, Reshma, who is also an artist and has garnered over one million views so far.
The clip showed the elderly employee completing her last tasks at her computer before colleagues gathered to mark the occasion at the branch in Kerala’s Thiruvananthapuram.
In the video, the woman was seen finishing work on her system, posing for photographs with colleagues and receiving gifts. The branch manager also presented her with a certificate as part of the farewell.
