Samantha says she has hard feelings for Naga Chaitanya on KWK 7.'If you put us in a room, hide sharp objects'

Samantha made her Koffee With Karan debut on Thursday, July 22. She confessed that she has hard feelings for Naga Chaitanya and added that if they are in the same room, sharp objects should be hidden.

Samantha Ruth Prabhu made her debut on Koffee With Karan 7 alongside Akshay Kumar. The episode, which aired on July 21, saw the actress opening up about her separation with Naga Chaitanya. She confessed to having hard feelings for him and added that the situation is not amicable. She said, "if you put us both in a room, you have to hide sharp objects.'

Samantha shared the couch with Akshay Kumar on Koffee With Karan 7, hosted by Karan Johar. The fun episode is currently streaming on Disney+ Hotstar.

Karan Johar asked Samantha about the social media trolling she faced after separation from her 'husband' Naga Chaitanya. The actress corrected him and said, 'ex-husband'.

She said, "I couldn’t really complain about it because I chose that path. I chose to be transparent and I chose to reveal a lot of my life. And when the separation happened, I couldn’t be too upset about it because they invested in my life and it was my responsibility to have answers, which I didn’t at that point of time."

Samantha said she is stronger than ever now. She stated, "It has been hard but it’s good now. It’s fine. I am stronger than I have ever been.” When Karan asked her if there were hard feelings for Naga Chaitanya, she said, "Like if you put us both in a room, you have to hide sharp objects? Yeah. As of now, yes. The situation is not amicable right now, but it may be sometime in the future."

Samantha and Naga Chaitanya got separated in October 2021 after four years of marriage. The two were in love for several years before tying the knot in October 2017 in Goa. Reportedly, the two have filed for divorce and the legal proceedings are underway.
