Salman Khan is currently shooting for a celebratory dance sequence for his upcoming war drama, Battle of Galwan, marking one of the final phases of production. Choreographed by Shabina Khan, the high-energy Mumbai shoot spans multiple locations as the film nears its completion.
Actor Salman Khan is set to perform a special dance sequence for Battle of Galwan, with preparations already well underway. The song will be filmed over a six-day schedule in Mumbai on a massive scale. Once this celebratory song is wrapped, only about two weeks of production will remain, which is expected to be completed shortly thereafter.
Salman commenced filming for this track on February 6, with the schedule set to wrap up by February 12, as reported by Bollywood Hungama, citing an insider source. The production unit is currently filming in Gorai, after which the schedule will shift to a specialised set constructed at Golden Tobacco in Vile Parle.
The choreography for this track is being handled by Shabina Khan, who has previously collaborated with Salman on several films. The song is being shot against two distinct backdrops in Mumbai. Once filming for the musical number concludes on February 12, only two weeks of production will remain to wrap up the entire movie.
Salman Khan's Battle of Galwan is currently slated for a theatrical release on April 17. However, recent reports suggest a potential postponement to mid-August. While the filmmakers have yet to officially address these rumours, a shift to the Independence Day weekend would set the stage for a massive box-office clash with Sunny Deol's 'Lahore 1947,' which is set to release on August 13, 2026.
Battle of Galwan focusses on the clash between Indian and Chinese soldiers that occurred in June 2020 at the border. Salman will portray PVC (Param Vir Chakra) recipient Colonel B Santosh Babu, the officer who led the Indian troops during the confrontation. The movie promises to be a gripping recount of one of the deadliest border clashes in recent history.
