RRR director SS Rajamouli hosts lunch for Anupam Kher in Hyderabad. Actor says 'love your simplicity'

Anupam Kher is all praises for director SS Rajamouli! The actor had lunch with him in Hyderabad, and shared a sweet post later.

Anupam Kher visited SS Rajamouli's house in Hyderabad recently. The actor took to social media on August 3 to thank the South director for hosting him for lunch at his place. Anupam shared a few pictures and a video with Rajamouli and his wife Rama Rajamouli on Instagram. In the video, Anupam is seen honouring Rajamouli with a traditional shawl wrapping. In the photos, the actor posed with Rajamouli and Rama.

Sharing the post on Instagram, Anupam Kher wrote, “Dearest #RamaJi and SS Rajamouli! Thank you for your love, warmth and delicious lunch at your place in Hyderabad! I was particularly happy to welcome you in your own house with a traditional shawl wrapping! I love your simplicity and humility. I feel blessed. So much to learn from both of you!! #Simple #Successful #Maverick. (sic)” In the video that Anupam shared, he is seen putting a traditional shawl around Rajamouli as he says, “How will you otherwise remember me more.” To this, Rama replies, “How can we forget you?” In the next photo, Rajamouli and Anupam are seen greeting each other with folded hands.

In the latest update, Anupam Kher has also joined the film's cast. The perception is that his association with the film may boost its prospects in the Hindi market. The official Twitter handle of production house Abhishek Agarwal Arts recently introduced Anupam Kher as the new cast member of the film who will be seen in a 'powerful role'.

Tiger Nageswara Rao is set in the 1970s and revolves around the real-life thief of the same name. It is directed by Vamsee, The film stars Nupur Sanon and Gayathri Bharadwaj as the leading ladies opposite Ravi Teja. R Madhie ISC serves as the cinematographer. GV Prakash Kumar is set to compose tunes for the biggie. Tiger Nageswara Rao's release date is yet to be finalised.

For Anupam Kher, this comes months after he scored a blockbuster with The Kashmir Files. He is currently awaiting the release of the Telugu movie Karthikeya 2, directed by Chandoo Mondeti. It is slated to open in theatres on August 12. Anupam will also be seen as the late political leader Jayaprakash Narayan in Kangana Ranaut's film Emergency. The upcoming political drama is written and directed by Kangana, who essays the role of former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi. Last month, Anupam shared his first look from Emergency on Twitter.
