Republic Day violence was conspiracy to make Red Fort new farmer protest site: Delhi Police
India Today
The Delhi Police in its chargesheet said the Republic Day violence by farmers was a conspiracy to make Red Fort the new site for the protest.
The Delhi Police in its chargesheet on the Republic Day violence this year revealed that there was a conspiracy to capture the Red Fort and make it the new site of farmer protest against the three new farm laws. In an unprecedented turn of events, protesting farmers broke through police barricades on their tractors to hoist their own flag Nishan Sahib at Red Fort on January 26 this year. Across Delhi, police resorted to lathicharge and teargassing as farmers tried to break away from the designated rally routes and pelted stones at security personnel. Several people were arrested in connection with the violence on Republic Day in the national capital and now the police chargeheet has revealed that this was all a part of a well-planned conspiracy to make Red Fort the new site for farmer protest against the Centre's recently passed farmed laws.More Related News
