Realme GT Neo 3 may arrive in India soon. According to a new leak, the GT Neo 3 has been listed on the website of the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS). That means that the phone is expected to be launched in India soon. However, Realme has not confirmed anything yet. Realme originally launched the GT Neo 3 earlier this month in China. The phone is not available outside of China yet, but the listing on BIS means the company is preparing for the phone’s international launch.
The listings of the Realme GT Neo 3 on the websites of the BIS and SIRIM were spotted by tipster Abhishek Yadav. While BIS is the regulatory body in India that gives certificates to products about to hit the market. SIRIM, short for Standard and Industrial Research Institute of Malaysia, gives certificates to products in Malaysia. The fact that the certificates have been issued to the Realme GT Neo 3 in two countries means the launch outside of China is imminent. Yadav said the launch could take place sometime in April or May in India. Realme could also be preparing for the launch in the European market.
The Realme GT Neo 3 is a premium phone that features a 6.7-inch 2K display with a refresh rate of 120Hz, a touch sampling rate of 1000Hz, and support for HDR10+. Gamers will especially appreciate the features. The phone uses an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 8100 processor, which is one of the fastest processors in the mid-range. The Realme GT Neo 3 comes with Realme UI 3.0 but uses Android 11 instead of Android 12.
While gamers will appreciate the performance of the GT Neo 3, photographers are likely to find the 50-megapixel Sony IMX766 sensor useful. This sensor supports optical image stabilisation and electronic image stabilisation to give stable videos. The rear camera system includes an ultra-wide-angle lens with a 119-degree field of view and a macro camera. The selfie camera resides inside the punch-hole on the display of the GT Neo 3. The phone has a 4500mAh battery but you can choose between charging speeds of 80W and 150W. Realme says 80W charging can fill 100 per cent battery in 32 minutes, while with the 150W tech, 50 per cent battery will be charged in 5 minutes. There is, however, no support for wireless charging.
In China, the price of the Realme GT Neo 3 starts at CNY 1,999 for the 80W model and CNY 2,699 for the 150W model. In Indian Rupees, these prices convert to roughly Rs 24,000 and Rs 32,400, respectively.
