A video of a Rapido driver from Assam escorting a blind passenger to his destination has gone viral, receiving widespread appreciation for its display of kindness and empathy.
A Rapido driver from Assam has warmed hearts online after sharing a video of a memorable ride where he helped safely escort a blind passenger to his destination.
The video was posted on Instagram by Arfan, a Rapido rider who often documented snippets from his daily work on the road. In this particular clip, he captured what he described as a “special” ride that stood out from the several trips he made every day.
The video began with Arfan arriving at the pickup location, where a young man was waiting outside his home along with family members. As Arfan prepared for the ride, the family informed him that the passenger was visually impaired.
Without hesitation, he nodded in understanding and reassured them that he would make sure the passenger reached his destination safely.
Throughout the ride, the two men were seen chatting casually, making the journey feel less like a routine trip and more like a friendly conversation. The clip later showed them arriving at the destination, which appeared to be a college campus.
When they reached the entrance, a security guard stopped them at the gate. Arfan quickly explained that his passenger was blind and needed assistance reaching inside the campus. The guard then allowed them entry.

When we look at Iran through the prism of religion and see a Shia Islamic country, we negate its thousands of years of rich pre-Islamic Persian culture. A dive into the world of Zoroastrianism and Vedas shows us how Indians and Iranians have been sharing languages, Gods, sciences and a sacred fire for thousands of years.
