Neetu Kapoor is celebrating her 64th birthday today (July 8). The veteran actress is being showered with love and good wishes from her family, friends, fans and industry colleagues. Earlier today, Alia Bhatt shared a special birthday wish for her mother-in-law Neetu. The actress took to her Instagram story and shared an unseen photo with her MIL from her and Ranbir Kapoor's haldi ceremony. And now, the Brahmastra duo has surprised mom Neetu with a special gift.

Ranbir and Alia got married on April 14, 2022. The couple sought blessings from Neetu Kapoor and their family members. Today, as the veteran actress turned 64, Ranbir and Alia sent a special bouquet of flowers and a note to her.

Neetu Kapoor, who is currently in London with her daughter Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, shared a photo of the same on IG story. She further thanked Ranbir and Alia for the gift. "Thank you @aliaabhatt Rana (sic)," the senior actress wrote. The text on the note read, "Happy birthday mom. Love you lots (sic)."

Meanwhile, Ranbir Kapoor is currently busy promoting his film Shamshera with Vaani Kapoor. The actor recently appeared on the sets of Ravivaar With Star Parivaar. The actor sought help from Anupamaa actress Rupali Ganguly to become the world's best father. For those unaware, Ranbir and Alia are expecting their first child. Coming back to Shamshera, the YRF film is scheduled for release on July 22, 2022.

Alia, on the other hand, is busy shooting for her first Hollywood film. The actress will be seen alongside Wonder Woman actress Gal Gadot in the film.
