Ram Gopal Varma trolled Ram Charan and Jr NTR's bromance on Twitter. The filmmaker has been in the news after he recently claimed that theatre giants are refusing to screen his upcoming film Khatra (Dangerous) due to its homosexual theme.

Helmed by SS Rajamouli, RRR has gone on to become one of the most profitable films of the year. Starring Jr NTR and Ram Charan in the lead, we saw the South superstars’ cute bromance during the film’s promotions. From tickling one another to taking one another’s case (in all good faith), witnessing Jr NTR and Ram’s fun moments during RRR promotions were considered visual treats by fans. But now, Ram Gopal Varma (RGV) has taken a dig at the South superstars on Twitter. Wondering why? Let’s find out.

RRR has gone on to become one of the most successful films of 2022. The film has managed to earn Rs 921.80 crore in 11 days and is still going strong. During the promotions, director SS Rajamouli, Ram Charan and Jr NTR’s bromance would make fans go gaga. However, filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma took a dig at the stars and called them “Dangerous 2.0 (sic).”

In case you are wondering why, RGV's upcoming film, Khatra (Dangerous) is ready for release. But certain theatre giants are refusing to screen the film due to its alleged homosexual theme, claims the filmmaker. In a similar light, Ram Gopal Varma trolled SS Rajamouli, Ram Charan and Jr NTR’s bromance during RRR promotions by calling it ‘dangerous 2.0’. He shared a video compilation of the RRR stars from their promotional spree.

Khatra (Dangerous) is a crime thriller directed by Ram Gopal Varma. The filmmaker said it was his first lesbian film. On April 5, RGV took to Twitter and claimed that theatre giants are refusing to screen his film. His first tweet reads, "@_PVRcinemas, @INOXCINEMAS refusing to screen my film KHATRA (DANGEROUS) becos it’s theme is LESBIAN ,and this after Supreme Court repealed section 377 and censor board already passed .it is a clear cut ANTI stand of their managements against #LGBT community (sic)."
