Rajkummar Rao calls Badhaai Do co-star Bhumi Pednekar a ‘brat’. Interview

In an exclusive chat with IndiaToday.in, Rajkummar Rao talked about his Badhaai Do co-star Bhumi Pednekar. The comedy drama hit the theatres on February 11.
Rajkummar Rao, who is sharing screen space with Bhumi Pednekar for the first time in Badhaai Do, can't stop praising his co-actor. In an exclusive interview with IndiaToday.in, Rajkummar spoke about working with Bhumi and also called her a brat. He said, “Bhumi is a brat, hum log bahut taang khichte hai ek dusre ki (we tease each other a lot).”
Rajkummar Rao and Bhumi Pednekar’s Badhaai Do released in cinemas on February 11. Talking about his honest impression of Bhumi, Rajkummar said, "I think she is very hard working. She is very sincere and has a huge heart. We have pulled her leg a lot and she is such a sport. Bhumi always participates, which is amazing. It is an amazing characteristic to have. She is a brilliant performer - we all know that. But the way we got to know her through this film was the Bhumi I never would have ever imagined."
Badhaai Do is a sequel to the 2018 film Badhaai Ho which starred Ayushmann Khurrana and Sanya Malhotra. Rajkummar essays the role of a cop, while Bhumi plays the role of a PT teacher in the film. Apart from Rajkummar and Bhumi, the film also features actors like Seema Pahwa, Sheeba Chadha, Lovleen Mishra, Nitish Pandey, Shashi Bhushan, and others. The film is directed by Harshavardhan Kulkarni.
