Teachers in Rajasthan's Barmer are taking extra efforts by taking the 'schools' to the doorsteps of students to ensure their education does not suffer during the pandemic.
With the ongoing second wave of the novel coronavirus, schools are shut all across India. While online classes are the new way of teaching, there are lakhs of students who are not able to avail themselves of it due to lack of resources. In a similar case, Rajasthan's Barmer teachers are making extra efforts for the students by taking 'schools' to their doorsteps so that they don't suffer due to the pandemic. Teachers are traveling on camels to the homes of students in desert areas where they don't have access to mobile networks. As per the schedule, these teachers travel three times a day to reach students' homes in the Barmer district.
