
Punjab schools, colleges shut till April 10 due to Covid-19 spread

The schools and colleges in Punjab have been shut down till April 10 in view of the rise in Covid-19 cases across the state in the past few days.
The government of Punjab has decided to shut down all educational institutes in the state, including schools and colleges, till April 10 in view of the recent spike in Covid-19 cases. The schools and colleges will reopen once the Covid-19 situation in the state is reviewed. Before the order came to shut the educational institutes down till April 10, the government had closed the schools, colleges, and all educational institutions in the state from March 19 till March 31 for the safety of the students during the pandemic. The order to shut down all educational institutes in Punjab extends to all the private, government, and aided schools as well as coaching classes, polytechnic institutes, and degree colleges and universities. All of these are set to reopen on April 10, 2021.
