Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas recently became proud parents of a baby via surrogacy. Now, reports suggest that Priyanka has decided to quit Jee Le Zaraa, co-starring Katrina Kaif and Alia Bhatt, as she embarks on a new journey.

On January 22, Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas announced the arrival of their first child via surrogacy. Priyanka Chopra and her husband Nick Jonas have been blessed with a baby girl. As per media reports, their daughter was born 12 weeks earlier than expected. Now, latest reports suggest that Priyanka has decided to walk out of Farhan Akhtar's Jee Le Zaraa, co-starring Alia Bhatt and Katrina Kaif, as she embarks on a new journey.

Now, as per a media report, it is being stated that Priyanka Chopra might quit Farhan Akhtar's Jee Le Zaraa. The actress was going to feature in the film with Katrina Kaif and Alia Bhatt. But after embracing motherhood, the actress has apparently decided to opt out of the film.

Speculations are rife that Priyanka Chopra wants to devote her time and energy to her baby girl for the time being. She has reportedly given producers Farhan and Ritesh Sidhwani an option to find another actress in her place.

It is to be noted here that Priyanka Chopra had in the past walked out of Salman Khan's Bharat when she decided to tie the knot with Nick Jonas. "While many would give anything for the film or maybe even leaving their husband, Priyanka left the film," Salman Khan had famously said in an interview with Mumbai Mirror. Katrina Kaif later replaced her in the film.

On January 22, Priyanka and Nick announced that they are embracing parenthood. They announced that they are now parents to their first child via surrogacy and requested privacy so they may focus on this new phase in their lives. Priyanka wrote, "We are overjoyed to confirm that we have welcomed a baby via surrogate. We respectfully ask for privacy during this special time as we focus on our family. Thank you so much (sic)."

While rumour mills are abuzz about Priyanka's ouster from Jee Le Zaraa, the actress hasn't opted out of her Hollywood projects. The actress will be seen in Citadel with Richard Madden and Stanley Tucci. Priyanka is also going to be a part of Text For You along with Sam Heughan, Celine Dion and Lydia West.

The actress was last seen in The Matrix Resurrections with Keanu Reeves. The film opened to a thunderous response from critics and fans alike.
