While there's news for school students, private and repeating candidates have been waiting all through the pandemic for the government's decision to conduct exams or promote them to the next class.

For Gadsy and her family in Rameshwaram, her 92% score in the Class 10 board exam came as a huge achievement. Gadsy had big dreams for her future but all of it came shattering down when her father passed away. Gadsy had to take a one-year break from her studies to support her family and in 2019, she decided to continue her education and enrolled into a private tutorial which was what her financial situation supported her to do. But unfortunately for Gadsy and her family, it has been uncertain time since then.
