Prithviraj Sukumaran’s Kaduva to premiere on Amazon Prime Video on August 4

Prithviraj Sukumaran’s Kaduva is set to arrive on Amazon Prime Video on August 4. The film was released in theatres on July 7.

Prithviraj Sukumaran’s latest Malayalam movie Kaduva opened to a good response at the box office on July 7. It went on to emerge as one of the most profitable films of the year, collecting nearly Rs 40 crore during its lifetime. The flick is now set to arrive on Amazon Prime Video. Kaduva is an actioner, directed by Shaji Kailas.

Prithiviraj scored a big hit with Kaduva, his second release of the year after Gana Jana Mana. It is now set to arrive on Amazon Prime Video on August 4. The streaming platform wrote on Twitter that Kaduva is a tale that focuses on an intense rivalry. Amazon Prime Video also shared a poster from the film to pique the curiosity of those who didn’t watch the movie in theatres.

Kaduva is an action drama that revolves around the deeply personal feud between Prithviraj Sukumaran’s Kaduvakunnel Kurian Koruthu and Vivek Oberoi’s Inspector General Joseph Chandy. The film features Inspector Samyukhta Menon as the female lead. Vivek Oberoi plays the antagonist in his second Malayalam movie after Mohanal’s Lucifer (2019). The cast includes Arjun Ashokan, Alencier Ley Lopez, Baiju Santhosh, and Kalabhavan Shajohn, among others. Kaduva is jointly produced by Supriya Menon of Prithviraj Productions and Listin Stephen of Magic Frames.

Prithviraj Sukumaran, meanwhile, is set to turn his attention to his upcoming projects. The mass hero will soon be seen alongside Lady Superstar Nayanthara in the Alphonse Puthren-directed Gold, slated to hit the open in theatres on August 26. He will be seen in a key role in the pan-India movie Salaar, which features Prabhas in the titular role. Prithviraj Sukumaran also has films such as the Aadujeevitham, Kaaliyan, and Kaapa in his kitty. Prithviraj plans to direct Mohanlal in Empuraan, a sequel to Lucifer. He will also be playing a key role in the biggie.
