A resident of Khilafatpur in Bihar, Chhavi disappeared without a trace when he was 18 years old. His family, who had performed his last rites, has now learnt that he is alive and lodged in a jail in Pakistan.
A 30-year-old man who went missing in Bihar’s Buxar district 12 years ago has been found to be alive and lodged in a jail in Pakistan.
Chhavi, a resident of Khilafatpur, had disappeared without a trace when he was 18 years old. According to his family members, Chhavi was mentally disturbed at the time of his disappearance.

The government told the Bombay High Court that the situation remains dynamic due to international developments, and emphasised that it may not be appropriate to deliberate such matters within court proceedings. He assured the bench that the government is taking all necessary remedial measures to ensure that global disruptions do not adversely impact domestic supply of LPG.
