Poco F4 5G key specs confirmed ahead of official launch: All you need to know

Poco is yet to announce the official launch date of the Poco F4 5G in India and other global markets.
The Poco F4 5G is confirmed to launch in India and globally "soon". Ahead of the official launch, the company has set up a dedicated site that highlights some of its key specifications. The company has revealed that its upcoming smartphone will feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 chipset, which also powers notable 'affordable' flagship devices like the OnePlus 9R 5G and iQoo Neo 6 5G.
The dedicated site further clarifies that the upcoming Poco F4 5G will come with a Liquidcool 2.0 cooling system comprising a 3,112mm sq vapour chamber and seven-layered graphite sheets. It may boost or at least maintain the smartphone's high performance during intense gaming sessions.
In terms of memory and storage, Poco has revealed that the Poco F4 5G would get at least 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. We can expect the smartphone to get more storage models based on launches in the past. However, we can expect the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage unit to be the costliest.
Other official details of the camera and display are yet to be revealed, though we have a fair idea about what to expect, thanks to an elaborate leak. Recently, the Poco F4 5G's alleged live images surfaced online, highlighting a green colour variant. The company may add more colours such as Black or its distinct Poco Yellow.
The alleged live images shared by Rootmygalaxy with Passionategeekz also highlight triple rear cameras inside a black rectangular module. The rear camera module notes the Poco F4 5G will include a 64-megapixel primary camera with OIS support. We can also notice a flat-edge design inspired by the iPhone 12 series.
Pricing details of the Poco F4 5G remain unclear, though Poco might price the device aggressively to gain an edge over rivals like OnePlus, Samsung, and iQoo. Poco's gaming-centric Poco F3 GT is available in India at Rs 28,999 for the 8GB RAM model.
