Para teachers demands approved in Jharkhand

Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren has approved the demands of para teachers, including 50% reimbursement and a job for a dependent after retirement.
Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren on Wednesday announced the benefits to para teachers during the celebration of the second anniversary of the state's government. As many as 60, 000 para teachers have demanded a compensatory job for their dependant post-retirement. The demand has now been approved by the state government.
Moreover, they will also get a minimum enhancement of 50% on the amount they draw now. The para teachers were in agitation for more than 15 years.
