Palak Purswani admitted that it wasn't easy breaking up with Avinash Sachdev. She said, "Having said that, we had our share of good days. I have fond memories with him. He was quite an understanding person professionally in our relationship. Every relationship goes through ups and downs, every relationship has fights but some things are off the limit which becomes unacceptable. In my professional life, he was very understanding. We both would uplift each other, we would understand everything about each other. But on a personal level, as a girl and a partner, some things are not acceptable for me."
Palak added, "I am very strong-headed. For me, it's either white or black, right or wrong. So there were some things which were non-negotiable, and that is why I had to take this harsh call. It wasn't easy, it was four years of relationship. We were going to get married but for me, it was unacceptable. I am in a better place now. I am glad that I took this call because the sooner, the better. I thought being with an actor is quite easy but now my perspective towards that is changed. Some people are not good together. Maybe we were not meant to be together."
