A Pakistani man travelled to Ichikawa City Zoo in Japan to see Punch, the baby monkey who has gone viral after it was seen roaming around with a plushie in viral videos.
A Pakistani man shared a video showing the massive crowd gathered at Ichikawa City Zoo in Japan - all for a tiny, wide-eyed baby monkey named Punch who has become an internet sensation.
Punch, a baby Japanese macaque housed at Ichikawa City Zoo, was abandoned by his mother right after his birth and hand-raised by zookeepers. His videos went viral last week after short clips of him carrying his orangutan plush toy "Ora-mama" around began circulating online.
Meanwhile, Izaz, a content creator from Pakistan thought of visiting the zoo to see Punch and recorded a video of the sheer number of people who had turned up to catch a glimpse of the viral primate.
In the short seven-second video, Izaz pans his camera across rows of zoo visitors lined up around the enclosure. Dozens of people can be seen holding up their phones, smiling and recording as Punch toddles about, clutching what has now become his signature accessory, a small emotional support orangutan plushie.
The toy rarely leaves his side, and that detail, more than anything else, has captured the internet’s heart.
Phones are raised in near unison as Punch ambles around, seemingly unfazed by the attention. The atmosphere resembles a celebrity meet-and-greet more than a typical zoo visit.

Leon Panetta said Iran war was not an unexpected risk. He pointed out that for years, US security officials have known Iran could disrupt global oil supplies by blocking the Strait of Hormuz. According to him, this was a well-known danger, but one that appears to have been overlooked in the current conflict.
